National
This is an international society of more than 17 million Catholic men in more than 14,000 local councils dedicated to the ideals of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. The Bend Council, chartered in 1917, is instrumental in the work of the parish, supporting the activities of the handicapped, pro-life, financial aid to the seminarians, and supporting various youth programs.
Membership is limited to “practicing Catholic” men aged 18 or older. It was originally formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to the sick, disabled, and needy family members. In addition, social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief, and public relief works.
The Knights of Columbus often refers to its organization as the “strong right arm of the Church,” and every Catholic man is encouraged to be part of this amazing organization.

Our Council 1872 is deeply involved in serving the community across various aspects of life! From supporting events at the church and school to hosting fundraisers and aiding local nonprofits, we are making a significant impact.

Install and maintain the Nativity scene at the 27th Street Church, we hold Fish Fry's in the community center every Lent.

Our members assist with our school's Family Fun Night, Mother Son Soccer Jam, Annual Auction, Golf Tournament and End of School BBQ.

Us Knights host Blood Drives, support the Clergy and support local Non Profits such as Grandma’s House, St. Vincent de Paul, The Pregnancy Resource Center, Youth Programs and needy families benefit from our efforts to serve.

During the annual Parish event known as Come Celebrate Connect, our flame throwing chefs fire up the grill with some of the best burgers in town.

Adding a touch of warmth and fellowship, every month the Breakfast Crew is dishing up their famous Breakfast Burritos, Pancakes or Chilaquiles after 730am and 10am Mass.
